Shaun has completely transformed our garden. Our garden was a typical new build garden built on a slope and with lots of areas where there was no grass due to poor soil.
Shaun managed to change our garden to two levels with sleepers and now we have space for trees and flowers. Also, our patio was extended which is great for our little one to play.

SG developments was recommended to me by a friend who had recently had his garden done by Shaun. I gave Shaun a call and he came out to assess the job and to do a quote, Shaun helped me with a few problems with the tile supplier and he got it all sorted, he did an absolute fantastic job, I love my patio, he is so hard working, worked out in all kinds of weather, some very cold and wet days. I have recently had my garden at the back and front redesigned and completed by Shaun. This was not an easy job as there was no way that he would be able to get a digger in the back due to poor access. Shaun had to dig this all by hand and go up and down stairs with equipment and rubbish. This was time-consuming and very difficult work.

A little history:
The state of the patio was a TOTAL nightmare from previous contractor 5 months ago. Sandstones were laid far from good and they didn’t stick into the mortar. Incorrect cement mixing. Imprecise measurements. 2 man holes was buried. Slabs were almost at the same level of the dpc. Previous contractor came for 2 days, 2 hours on the first day and an hour the next day. They removed the slabs and dug the concrete however, he left the project unfinished and a mountain of stones and gravel in our driveway. 7 days job he promised but it took him 4 months and yet unfinished! He didn’t say a word to me. All I know was his work is fully insured according to his advertisement. I never saw him again. Contractor was unreliable, no workmanship and can’t be trusted. His work didn’t pass or will never the standard of any home owner or any contractor. A TOTAL FAILURE!
Fortunately, I’ve found SG Developments on Google. Shaun came to assess the project. He was shocked of what he had seen. Shaun was confidently gave me the assurance that he will make it right.
-Shaun laid his plans right to my very eyes. I didn’t get this from previous contractor.
-Shaun started the job. He patiently prepared the ground perfectly for slabbing.
-Shaun has the highest quality of workmanship and pricing. No hidden cost or extra payments. All is broken down in details.
-He has a vast of knowledge and ideas. His expertise is outstanding!
-Shaun is hardworking and never I’ve seen him procrastinating.
-He is meticulous and passionate with his work and the product is truly a masterpiece. We are over the moon again for the first time after 5 months in desperation.

Decided to go with SG developers after seeing some previous work he had done. After a reasonable quote Shaun started the work of tidying up our block paving and extending it where there had been a wall and doing drop kerb out side the house. Cannot fault his work, very professional and conscientious in what he does. He didn’t stop until he was happy with his work, he is a perfectionist which I like cos so am I.
